Privacy Policy & Client-Side Data Guarantee
At Curious Techie, privacy is not an afterthought or an optional toggle—it is the foundational engineering principle of every utility we build.
All transformations, conversions, decoders, and validators on Curious Techie execute 100% locally inside your web browser's volatile memory via modern Web APIs (such as the Web Crypto API, Typed Arrays, and Canvas Rendering engines). We never transmit, store, inspect, or log your confidential inputs, private keys, tokens, or uploaded files to any remote server or AI training pipeline.
01Information Processed by Developer Tools
When you use our utilities (e.g. Base64 Encoder, Cryptographic Hash Generator, JWT Decoder, UUID Generator, EXIF Cleaner, or CORS Validator), your input data is processed strictly in your browser session memory.
- No HTTP POST/GET requests carrying your payloads are dispatched to our backends.
- Files uploaded for EXIF metadata inspection or sanitization are parsed in-browser via
FileReaderand never leave your machine. - Closing or refreshing your browser tab immediately frees the allocated memory and destroys your session data.
02Local Storage & Cookies
Curious Techie does not use tracking cookies, advertising beacons, or cross-site fingerprinting scripts. We utilize standard browser localStorage solely to remember non-sensitive user preferences:
dark or light mode state locally.03Hosting & Edge Network Infrastructure
Our static website is distributed across global Edge CDN infrastructure. When your browser requests static assets (HTML, CSS, JavaScript files), the edge network automatically logs standard transport metadata (e.g. IP address, requested URL, user-agent string, and timestamp) strictly for:
- Mitigating Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks and malicious traffic.
- Optimizing content delivery routing and caching efficiency.
- Maintaining network availability and uptime compliance.
These automated infrastructure logs are retained for standard operational periods and do not contain any tool inputs or processing payloads.
04Compliance with Global Privacy Standards (GDPR & CCPA)
Because Curious Techie does not collect, store, or sell user personal identifiers:
- GDPR (EU General Data Protection Regulation): We act neither as a data controller nor data processor of your tool inputs. Zero user profiling or automated decision making occurs.
- CCPA / CPRA (California Consumer Privacy Act): We do not sell or share personal information with data brokers or advertising exchanges.
- Right to Erasure: All session computation is ephemeral and self-clearing upon tab closure.
